Central steam plant is a centralized location, where is steam is generated and supplied to various appliances via a network of pipes. The steam generated can be used to drying, ironing or even heating a room.
Boilers, an appliance that uses gas, electricity, oil or coal to heat a liquid, generally water, to produce steam or a vaporized state of the liquid, are used.
In terms of the laundry industry there are two types of boilers – miniature boilers attached to steamers to remove wrinkles from clothes and standalone boilers that can be connected to any appliance to supply heat.
